Experience the making of Scotland's national drink.

Our tour starts with a short drive to Glenkinchie Distillery, a working distillery.  A guided tour is followed by a video showing how Scotland’s national drink is made.  Malt Whisky has been produced here since 1840.  A taste of the Glenkinchie Single Malt is supplied to remind you of your visit and you can also visit an exhibition of malt whisky in the museum.  Afterwards we drive through the beautiful East Lothian countryside passing the small town of Haddington and St. Mary's Church dating from the 14th century to North Berwick with the Bass Rock in the distance, home to thousands of birds.  Here we stop for lunch.  Our journey also takes us past Dirleton Castle famous for its walled gardens, we then see Muirfield championship golf course.  As we pass Musselburgh, a small fishing town, you will see superb views of the Firth of Forth before arriving in Edinburgh for 15.30 hours.
