The tour leaves Edinburgh at 09.30 hours and takes us to Glasgow, Scotland's largest city. You will see the magnificent medieval Cathedral, built on the site of St Mungo's tomb. The city has many museums and historic buildings and is distinguished by the architecture of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. We make photo stops at other attractions, if traffic allows, including Kelvingrove Gallery, the most visited attraction in Scotland and Glasgow University, the second oldest in Scotland. Your guide will point out other places of interest as you drive along. After Glasgow we drive to Luss, a small village on the banks of Loch Lomond for lunch. Loch Lomond is Britain's largest area of fresh water. We then move further down the bonny banks to the village of Balloch where you will be able to take an optional Boat Cruise or wander round the village. On our return journey you will see picturesque scenery and at Stirling Castle, we will make a photo stop. The Wallace Monument can be seen in the distance. We also pass Linlithgow Palace, the Birth place of Mary Queen of Scots. When we arrive in Edinburgh the tour ends at Waverley Bridge.
