The village of Luss, on the shores of Loch Lomond, enjoys a wonderful location, with river, woodland and hills enhancing its picture-postcard views.
The first Luss Gathering was held in 1875 and the event has continued and developed since this time. The Clan Colquhoun have been patrons of the Gathering since the beginning.
Land in the Loch Lomond area has been in the Clan Colquhoun for centuries. This year, Malcolm Colquhoun, Clan Chieftain, will march with the Helensburgh and District Pipe Band to Luss Pier, before moving on to the Games Field, where the games will commence.
There will be a variety of events, including races such as the 'kilted dash', the 'tug ' o war', heavyweight events, and plenty of activities for adults and children.
