A natural beauty and history tour.

The area you are about to visit is called "The Borders" steeped in Scottish History and full of charm.

.. an area often overlooked by tourists in Scotland.

We leave Edinburgh at 10.00hrs and make our way to Scott's View, made famous by Sir Walter Scott, for a photo stop. The views here are spectacular. We Then make our way to Dryburgh Abbey, the most beautiful of all the Border abbeys. It is also the burial place of Sir Walter Scott. From here we continue on our way to Kelso and our lunch stop. Here you will have the opportunity to visit Kelso Abbey or just take photographs. Our next destination is Jedburgh which boasts the very beautiful and magnificent Jedburgh Abbey. You will have time to visit Mary Queen of Scot's House and the Abbey. On our way home we call at Melrose, a typical Borders Town. Here we have Melrose Abbey the final resting place of Robert The Bruce's Heart. The Abbey dates from 1136 and exhibits some intricate and truly exquisite stonework. You can also shop for woollens, tweeds or just souvenirs in the town. Melrose was also the site of one of the largest Roman settlements in this country.
After a pleasant day viewing stunning rolling countryside and taking in the history of this part of Scotland, you arrive in Edinburgh for 18.00hrs.
