Penthouse

This modern luxurious self-catering Penthouse, located in a highly desirable central location (only a 10 minute walk to Princes Street), comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 individuals and is ideal short-term accommodation. The apartment has private parking and, unlike most modern flats, is extremely spacious. The modern designer furniture used throughout, compliments the light and airy style of the penthouse, ensuring a stunning overall effect.

Lounge/dining room The spacious lounge/dining room (6m by 4.4m) has 2 walls which are predominantly made of glass. The furnishing includes a Danish designer dining table (seats 10), with 8 hi-backed leather and brushed steel dining chairs. They also include an Italian double sofa bed, a 3 seater sofa and footstool, all made in annoline leather. Also included are Cable TV, VCR, DVD, Hi-Fi, Library of 130 DVDs, coffee table and appropriate lighting.

Lounge/dining room The Penthouse is situated in an ideal location, with most of the tourist attractions within walking distance, as are numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and other attractions expected in such a central location. These include the Playhouse Theatre, (5 - 10 minute walk), with the new multi-screen cinema situated next door to the Theatre. Although the Penthouse is in such a central location, it is remarkably quiet, situated away from the main traffic, both in terms of vehicles and pedestrians!

Kitchen One of the unique features of the Penthouse is the kitchen, with it's glass wall, which leads onto the balcony with rooftop views of Edinburgh. The glass wall is particularly pleasant when eating in the kitchen. The kitchen is a large, (3.8m by 3.8m), fully equipped modern eating kitchen. The flooring is Amtico white marble, with black granite Charles René Mackintosh border.

Kitchen The kitchen also has built-in Bosch stainless steel appliances including double electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A microwave is also included, as are various other small electrical appliances. All the Le Creuset pots and pans, crystal glass, china crockery and cutlery necessary to produce a meal for in excess of 8 people are provided.

bathroom

The stunning bathroom has black wall tiles contrasting the white bathroom suite. These in turn are complemented by the Amtico black granite and grey marble floor tiles. The suite includes a chrome hand held showerhead for over the bath.
The airy hall has unusual dome shaped roof features allowing the hall to be illuminated by natural light via the use of mirrors.






Master bedroom The large double master bedroom (4.3m by 4.1m) has a Swiss designer double bed and matching furniture, with en-suite, including double shower and Amtico inlaid wooden floor. The large twin bedded room (4.2m by 3.4m) has brushed-steel beds, with matching furniture; and the second twin bedded room (3.7m by 2.8m) has luxurious cherry-oak furniture.
In both twin rooms the beds can be zipped together to make a super-kingsize bed.
There is a designer luxury leather comfortable double sofa-bed, situated in the lounge.
